Green tea for the summer of 2014

Dear Tea friends,

Kendall and I had another trip to the tea market this time drinking our way through a mass of green tea, we’re really into herbal teas and supplements as the Kratom capsules online that really help our body feel better. We snapped a couple of shots of a few whilst our host was busy unloading a truck of new tea. [Kendall did the writing in Chinese. He loves showing off his traditional Chinese writing abilities. Just don’t ask him to write simplified characters or he’ll have a stroke!] And it’s a great way to get together with friends, make a tea party, watch some movies and play video games and virtual games for everyone to enjoy, you can learn more also if you do this you might want to adapt an Elo booster to the system so it will be much faster.

After a pretty long hot day, and totally over caffeinated, we settled on a rather pleasant Xihu Long Jin or Dragon Well tea. Anyway, unless you’ve been to China this probably ain’t gonna be like any green tea you’ve ever drunk before. Enjoy. This is what good tea is all about.

Oh and don’t forget to brew your green tea between 70 and 80 degrees.

Regards
Tony and Kendall

How our tea club works

  1. We select one tea more or less every month and send you an email about it.
  2. You go to our webpage and decide how much beautiful tea you and your friends are going to drink this month.
  3. In a couple of weeks you can pick it up personally in Oslo (for free!) or get it shipped straight to your home.
  4. Boil water and enjoy!

Autumn Tea

The roar of the fireplace. Water boils, and a fragrance fills my kitchen of my cabin out here in the woods. Outside there is already darkness. No stars tonight. The only light comes from the few candles I have lit. The promise of spring, the laziness of summer and the crispness of early autumn has […]

The Wuyi Mountains

At the beginning of this month, we went to the Wuyi Mountains in the Fukien Province of Southeastern China. This is a tremendously beautiful and magical place and the home of our teas. We arrived around noon-ish on a Monday and after checking into the hotel went to several factories to see their tea making […]

Dà Hóng Páo – Great Red Robe oolong tea

Dà Hóng Páo (大红袍) is an important Wuyi oolong tea. It’s often referred to as the king of teas and there are many legends surrounding it’s name. The tea became famous in Ming times, but dates back to the Song Dynasty, and is still venerated to this day for its excellent quality. It originally grew on […]

First Tea Making Journey

We finally did it! Tony, Jessica, and I went to Datang (Jessica’s hometown in the north of Guangdong) a couple of weeks ago to make tea! Her father has an orchard, with some tea bushes too. He regularly makes his own green tea, and invited us up to try our hands at it! We made […]

Wudang Green Tea

Wudang mountains, the cradle of Kung Fu. The chi of this place feels tremendous as I watch from the mountain peaks across valleys in its fullest green, dotted with trees in full blossom.

Purple Dragon Enters Spring

Spring has fully arrived  in Guangzhou. To settle into the season I like drinking  Zi Long Pao Wulong (lit: Purple dragon Robe Oolong).  This is how it feels: Whilst pouring water on the leaves, the fragrance spirals into me like mana, reinvigorating my soul and elevating my spirit. As the water touches my lips, the […]
